On October 13, 2020, the Pacific Islands Development Program launched our new series in partnership with the East-West Center: EWC Insights featuring Pacific Leaders. Our inaugural guest was His Excellency David W. Panuelo, President of the Federated States of Micronesia. President Panuelo and PIDP Director Karena Lyons discussed critical regional topics such as climate change, the Pacific Islands Forum Director General race, China’s activities in the FSM and the wider Pacific, among many others.
