This week in Noumea the SPC’s Committee of Representatives is discussing new approaches to addressing overlapping regional challenges.
The director-general, Dr Jimmie Rodgers, says these challenges require commitment from everyone, through effective partnerships and greater multi-sectoral collaboration.
He advocates a "many partners, one team approach".
Dr Rodgers says whole of government and whole of society approaches are the keys to achieving sustainable, long-term solutions.
